Canondrum is a light, energetic little piece for two cellos. Both parts are of equal technical difficulty, neither going outside first position. Canondrum needs a short staccato or spiccato bow. The piece is pulsing and fast-paced, full of bounce and enthusiasm. Though in 4/4 time for simplicity, a two beat feel helps lend momentum.
